2. Availability and applicable plans

New live paid subscriptions remain unavailable pending completion of commercial certification and legal publication. Preparing these terms does not activate a subscription or authorise a charge. The rules below apply only to a new Paid V1 subscription expressly sold under this version after activation.

SPP Plus costs £29.99 per month and includes 75 subscription Credits for each successfully paid and entitled monthly billing period. SPP Pro costs £49.99 per month and includes 150 subscription Credits for each successfully paid and entitled monthly billing period.

Before you order, we will identify the included features, total payable price including applicable taxes, billing interval, next renewal date, cancellation arrangements and statutory rights. Your payment confirmation must clearly acknowledge the obligation to pay. We will provide an email or other durable confirmation of your order and accepted terms. Trials, Insider offers and Credit top-ups are not authorised by this document.

3. Monthly renewal and Credits

Your monthly subscription renews at the price and on the billing date disclosed when you order, unless cancelled or changed under these terms. A new monthly allowance is issued only for a successfully paid and entitled billing period. Failed renewal payments do not create a new allowance. Payment retries or reconciliation do not create additional allowances for the same period.

New Paid V1 monthly subscription Credits do not roll over. Unused subscription Credits expire at the end of the paid billing period to which they belong. Eligible subscription Credits are used before purchased top-up Credits.

These new rules do not convert legacy rollover Credits into expiring Credits. Existing purchased Credits, legacy balances and their original documented terms remain protected unless a separate lawful migration is agreed. Historical payment and Credit records are retained under the applicable retention rules.

4. Plus-to-Pro upgrades

A Plus-to-Pro upgrade takes effect only after successful settlement of the required prorated payment. The amount payable is shown before you confirm the upgrade. If payment fails, your existing Plus plan and valid Credits remain in place; no provisional Pro Credits are issued.

You keep unused subscription Credits for the current paid period. After settlement, you receive only the prorated difference between the Plus and Pro monthly allowances: additional Credits = ceiling(75 × remaining billing-period seconds ÷ total billing-period seconds). Ceiling means rounding up to the next whole Credit. For example, exactly half a period remaining gives 38 additional Credits.

The calculation uses the remaining time when the provider confirms payment settlement, not when a delayed notification reaches us. The additional Credits expire at the same paid-period end. An upgrade does not grant an additional full Pro allowance mid-cycle. Repeated or delayed payment notifications do not grant the difference twice.

Your current billing-period end is unchanged by the upgrade. The confirmation must show the upgrade charge, additional Credits and expiry, and the £49.99 monthly Pro price payable from the next renewal unless a scheduled downgrade or cancellation applies. The invoice amount and Credit difference are separate calculations; a delayed settlement may reduce the additional Credits because less of the period remains.

5. Pro-to-Plus downgrades

A voluntary Pro-to-Plus downgrade takes effect at the next billing renewal. You retain Pro entitlement and remaining subscription Credits through the current paid period. At the next successful Plus renewal, the new period receives 75 Plus subscription Credits under the non-rollover rule.

A voluntary mid-cycle downgrade alone does not create an automatic cash refund or account credit. This does not limit applicable statutory cancellation or refund rights, correction of billing errors, or a separately agreed exception.

6. Cancellation, payment failure and expiry

You may request cancellation using the subscription controls where available or by sending a clear cancellation statement to [email protected]. Marketing unsubscribe does not cancel a subscription.

Stopping automatic renewal preserves access and remaining subscription Credits through the paid-through date; the confirmation will identify that date. This is different from statutory cancellation or a refund that lawfully ends the contract earlier. No new allowance is issued for an unpaid renewal period. Unused new-policy subscription Credits expire at their applicable paid-period end.

If a failed payment is later recovered, entitlement and any allowance are reconciled against the successfully entitled period. Recovery does not create duplicate allowances. Purchased top-up Credits and historical balances are not forfeited because a subscription ends.

A cancellation request made before the next renewal is due stops that renewal. A payment taken in error after the effective cancellation date will be corrected and refunded. We will confirm your request and the date paid access ends. We will not treat a request to exercise statutory cancellation rights as merely a request to stop a later renewal.

7. Reservations, consumption and corrections

A Credit operation displays its price before confirmation. A reservation is a temporary hold, not final consumption. Grants, reservations, consumption, releases, expiry and refunds are recorded separately. Outstanding reservations must be safely reconciled before expiry, and uncertain outcomes must be resolved before charging.

A failed operation must release its reservation. An operation or result included in a paid package must not be charged twice. Billing corrections and applicable refunds remain available; these terms do not remove statutory remedies.

8. Related policies and statutory rights

Read these terms with the Terms of Use at https://studentpathpro.co.uk/terms-conditions/, the Cancellation and Refund Policy at https://studentpathpro.co.uk/refunds-and-cancellations/ and the Privacy Notice at https://studentpathpro.co.uk/privacy-policy-gdpr/. Applicable consumer rights are not excluded.

The following cancellation information supplements the Cancellation and Refund Policy; it does not replace any more favourable applicable right. That policy’s approved discretionary rules, including its unused-renewal and outage provisions, remain separate from statutory rights. A provider refund does not itself authorise an automatic deduction from unrelated purchased or legacy Credits. Any adjustment must have a lawful, documented basis and be recorded separately.

9. Consumer cancellation and remedies

Where the Consumer Contracts Regulations apply, you normally have 14 days after the day the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. Missing required cancellation information may extend that period. Email [email protected] or use the optional form in the Cancellation and Refund Policy; no special form is required.

Starting a service early requires your express request. A proportionate charge on cancellation is permitted only when the legal conditions are met. Digital content has separate consent, acknowledgement and confirmation requirements. Logging in, reserving Credits or accepting general terms is not a blanket waiver.

For statutory service cancellation, refunds are due within 14 days after notification, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee. Rights to remedies for defective services or digital content remain unaffected. Discretionary refund conditions do not restrict statutory rights.

Contact [email protected] about a complaint, payment error or disputed calculation. Nothing in these terms removes your right to pursue a statutory remedy or a claim in court.
