How we curate
Useful because it is careful.
Insider is edited by people and checked against its sources. These are the standards every issue follows.
- Deadlines checked at the source
We only publish a closing date when the employer or source states it. We never guess a deadline from how old an advert is.
- Sponsorship stated carefully
An employer appearing in sponsor evidence is not the same as a vacancy offering sponsorship. Insider keeps the two apart.
- Sources that permit it
Opportunities are only included where we have the right to share them, with a link to the original.
- No invented exclusives
Something is called exclusive only when it genuinely is. Offers appear only when they are real and approved.

How is it different from SPP's free guides?
Guides stay free and public. Insider is a curated briefing: checked deadlines, prioritised opportunities and concise guidance, delivered to your inbox so you do not have to search for it.
Does unsubscribing cancel a paid subscription?
No. An unsubscribe link only changes which emails you receive. Cancelling a paid subscription will be a separate, clearly labelled step in your account once subscriptions open.
Is it immigration advice?
No. The International student watch shares information with links to official sources. For decisions about your visa, use GOV.UK and seek qualified advice.
